The Cousin Jay and Garrett Sports Show

Listen to "The Band" with Cousin Jay and Garrett, Sports Entertainment at it's finest. Listen as these two take a politically incorrect and sarcastic view on sports and entertainment. With the show's roots firmly planted in sports, The Band habitually spins off into their own worlds often ending up in the fields of entertainment and pop culture. Please do not think of your hosts as expert analysts, their view on sports is truly unique and the view of "fans" because in the end, that is what Cousin Jay and Garrett are, FANS! If you have become tired of the same cliches, responses, and answers that are reflected on other sports shows from television to radio, Cousin Jay and Garrett, will truly give their own opinion, whether you want to hear it or not. The Band apologizes in advance as they, especially Cousin Jay, says whatever is on his mind. He is an equal opportunity hater, while Garrett adds balance to Cousin Jay's anger with his smooth, and less offensive, insight. All in all, The Band just tries to cover sports with hilarious comedy and thier unique perspective on reality.

Episode 48: Happy Father's Day, Now Bend Over!  The Band returns with their views on getting older, prostate exams, oh yeah, and on sports.  The NBA finals wrapped up and the MLB is getting in to high gear.  Pacman was arrested...again...and, well it's Rocco's birthday (Cousin Jay's dog).  Happy Father's Day to all the Father's out there, Now bend over and take another great episode from The Band!

Sorry for the long lay-off, but you know how things go.  The Band is back!  Both Cousin Jay and Garrett have had "some things" come up over the last month, new studio, parenthood, and softball.  Thanks for being patient, we hope to be back on track in the coming weeks, but for now........?

Episode 45 El Band

First and foremost the The Band needs to give props to J.C. from Rock Monster for taking time out of his busy schedule to record our intro for us.  Thank You.  Now for the show content, after a week off, Cousin Jay and Garrett have plenty on their minds.  First with an American Idol recap, then on to the NCAA mens and womens championship.  Congrats to UF and UT, Cousin Jay is very upset that his Maryland 'Terps couldn't repeat, but all is forgiven.  Also on the docket for the show is racism in this day and age as well as everyone's new favorite sport, FIGHTING!. . . or just the UFC.

Episode 44: Bouncing and Laughing

That's exactly what Sanjaya's sister was doing while watching her brother perform on American Idol this past week.  Also, Cousin Jay can't stop talking about his infatuation with Lady Vol' Candace Parker as well as his love for NCAA women's college baseketball.  Not to worry, The Band discusses the NBA and Kobe's "great" scoring performances and the NFL's upcoming draft and player movements.  Questions? emailtheband@verizon.net
