Episode 28: I Want a Divorce

For the First Time Garrett takes over hosting the show.  This episode contains not only the normal chatter on NCAA football and the NFL, but also some wrap up stories on MLB and the recent start of the NBA.  The Band discusses the status of the Tampa Bay Bucs and Cousin Jay's feelings on waiting for Coach Gruden to turn things around.  A-Team vs G-Unit continues as Cousin Jay leads the series w/a 13-12 record compared to Garrett's 7-17 win-loss record.  If you watch to Friday Night Lights, don' miss Garrett's 3 minute wrap up.  Tons of entertainment news in the last segment of the show.

Episode 27: The Cuban Point of View

Garrett takes the night off and Cousin Jay takes over the podcast airwaves for the night.  For the 1st time ever, The Band has an interview.  No matter how ghetto the interview ended up, just blame the Cuban.  This weeks show has a strong base in College Football, Cousin Jay's favorite.  With out Garrett, Cousin is lost and just sticks with what he knows best (which is a pretty short list).  Hope you all enjoy and if you don't read this each week to preview each show...then to you I say "Su madre es burro"!  For those of you who do read the preview, thanks.

Episode 26: I'm Better than Bill Bellamy

The Band turns in another great show!  The Show kicks off with MLB and World Series Chatter.  Because neither Cousin Jay nor Garrett cares about baseball, that doesn't last very long.  Neither does the latest talk on the NBA.  Thank God there's still football to be played and the A-Team vs. G-Unit is continued (as Garrett went 0-4 last week!).  What is wrong with FSU and UM, and why is Gator fan screaming for Tebow to play more.  The show comes to an end when Garrett and Cousin Jay break into a discussion on Entertainment and Porn, now that's tons of fun.  Sorry there was no show last week, so we wanted to come in strong tonight!  Have fun!  emailtheband@verizon.net

Episode 25: Ready 2 Fight.

The Band shows their discust for the Major League Baseball playoffs and for the New York Yankees.  Does anyone care that the NBA has kicked off with recent pre-season games?  As usual A-Team vs G-Unit gets competitive.  Does anyone care that Ed Herman lost his first UFC fight since TUF? Garrett and Cuz J breakdown the status of the NFL, now five weeks into the season.  Does anyone read these show summaries?  Also the Band gets back into UFC and Entertainment with their favorite movies of the year.  Who cares...., Nobody Listens Anyway, Damn it!

Episode 24: Wednesday Night Lights...is gay!  The Band holds nothing back when discussing men that paint each other.  Other than that, The Band jumps into NFL, NCAA, and for the 1st time High School Football.  Cousin Jay has an exciting week by going 3-0 in his picks, while Garrett only managed to go 2-1.  The A-Team vs G-Unit rivalry gets back into full swing by picking 4 big games each.  Listen to the show and see where the chips fall as Cousin Jay and Garrett are now tied at 5 wins and 4 loses each.  Feel free to submit your pics or be a wussy from the sidelines, punk!

Episode 23: The Band Plays Doctor, NOT with each other!  Cousin Jay and Garrett discuss the amazing stories of Chris Simms getting his freakin' spleen removed and T.O.'s emtional and pyschological state.  Listen to Cousin Jay as he "drops some knowledge" and proves he did actually learn something while getting his degree in Psychology from FSU.  Don't forget a few minutes of A-Team vs G-Unit and the Mighty "Nole Chat" on their QB dilemma.  Garrett takes one step forward toward greatness in the rap game while Cousin Jay looks from afar in beautiful Polk County.

Episode 22: "I'm a Soldier"

In this episode, you'll undoubtely notice the crappy sound quality, but the content provided by Cousin Jay & Garrett is as good as its ever been!  It's all football once again as this week the guys continue with early NFL coverage, and breakdown what's wrong with the NFL & NCAA football teams in Florida.  Plus, you'll hear other assorted ramblings about confusing mascots, Florida State worship (suprise), and Kellen Winslow, Jr.

Episode 21: Donde Estan Mis Pantalones en Miami.  Cousin Jay discusses his escapades in Miami at the O.B., as well as dealing with the psychological trauma of hearing that FSU was losing to Troy while surrounded by "muy loco" screaming Hurricane fans (Buddah says it was karma, I think?).  Anyway the re-emergence of A-Team vs G-Unit comes to the forefront as Cousin Jay and Garrett pick three winners for NCAA and the NFL, along with a few surprises.  Don't worry no more dream sequences about Xavier Lee or any other large black men with dreadlocks.  Have fun!!

Episode 20: West-Side Dirty Pop!  Listen to the Band on it's 20th Episode.  Cousin Jay and Garrett complete their preview of the NFL by discussing the NFC and AFC West.  Listen for their predictions of the final two spots and wild card positions in this years NFL playoffs.  The Band also brings back everyone's favorite KARAOKE!  I'm sure you'll be entertained.  Go ahead and jump onto The Band's bandwagon now, we don't mind.  Questions? emailtheband@verizon.net

Episode 19: The South

Cousin Jay and Garrett continue their quest around the NFL and stop in the South, the NFC and AFC South divisions.  The fun doesn't stop there ladies and gentlemen, The Band gets political?!  Our hero's discuss their views on the new Spike Lee documentary: When the Leeves Broke, and their views on New Orleans.  Also, they debut of the Top 5 most disappointing moments in sports history as they relate directly to Cousin Jay and Garrett.

 

Episode 18: Cousin Jay and Garrett first start off with...well...talking about the wonderful "little people" and "morning sex".  After you have AM sex, what do you do?  Is there anything else to accomplish in the day?  Anyway, while you're thinking, listen to The Band break down the AFC and NFC North, as well as select their predictions for division winners.  Also on the show, the Basketball World Championships, Evander's comeback (again), is Marion Jones really a man?, and why is Cousin Jay have dreams about large black men with dread locks.  All your questions will be answered by listening to this show.  Don't forget to listen all the way through because The Band introduces a temporary new member.

Episode 17

Episode 14: CousinJayxxx:  Garrett's not in, so Cousin Jay takes the controls for the day.  It's hard to focus on sports when he has Tiffany on the brain, but Cousin Jay is willing to suck it up and give the fans what they all want, and that's more pictures of Tiffany Jones. . . Listen to The Band! Garrett & Cousin Jay continue on with their NFL draft, day 1, talk.  Garrett was right with his number 1 pick of Mario Williams to the Texans; however missed the rest.  Cousin Jay gloats about his 4 Florida State Seminoles drafted in the round number 1 as Garrett holds firmly to 0 from UF.  The sports discussion doesn't stop there, as The Band breaks down the NBA playoffs and the importance of Kobe vs. King James.  As usual our heroes banter back and forth on American Idol and the intimate techniques used in the Ultimate Fighting Championship.  To make it quick, Cousin Jay and Garrett start off serious and end up, well . . . not so much.

Cousin Jay and Garrett jump right into one of the most exciting times in professional football, the NFL Draft.  They decided to push all other sports aside to cover the draft.  Forget the NHL or NBA playoffs , The Band is only concerned with one thing right now, home many 'Noles will be drafted in the first round!  Well, that's all Cousin Jay cares about.  Not to disappoint, The Band also discusses the latest departures on both American Idol and The Ultimate Fighter 3.  As always don't forget to send emails at emailtheband@verizon.net. 

The Band's Favorite NFL Mock Draft

The Band begins the show by paying respects to the passing of DeShaun Holton (aka Proof) of the rap group D12.  However, your heros battle through the tough times to bring you another great episode.  Ultimate Fighting dominates in initial two segments, while Cousin Jay pimps his new HeadBlade and Garrett discusses his like for Sucky Bucky of American Idol (on Fox)!  The NBA playoffs and the start of the MLB season are also discussed.  Be sure to listen all the way through to catch another magical Karaoke performance, this time The Band takes it to the Backstreet.  Don't forget you too can participate in Karaoke by emailing your own attempts, that we're sure will fall far from the legendary status of Cousin Jay and Garrett, but they'll play them anyway.
